I wasn't all that thrilled with the opening. It's the same exact Fighting Dreamers song, with the exception of a few changes in actual animation. It had an awesome scene with Kurenai leaping through the air and Asuma fighting Kisame... I wish they had more of that fight. I wanna see more of Kurenai! It also had Sakura! She was fighting against these other shinobi. I'm pretty sure she was with Sasuke, but the scene was so badass. Other than the new awesome changes to animation, there weren't really any significant changes in the episode.
Parts A and B
The episode itself was fantastic; honestly, one of the best Naruto episodes that I've seen in a long time. I got really sick of that Rasengan shit. And it was good to see Tsunade in action. That Tsunade vs. Naruto fight scene was teh sh1t, man. I had a theory that Shizune was on the same team as Kakashi, but the end of the episode pretty much relinquished that thought. I had a feeling that Kakashi trained under Jiraiya, and Shizune trained under Orochimaru. *shrugs* Stupid theory, but it made sense at a certain part of the episode. I can't wait until the Tsunade vs. Orochimaru vs. Jiraiya battle comes up. That was so awesome in the manga, it'll be ten times better animated.
Ending
O_O! The. Best. Naruto. Ending. Evar! Sakura. in. 2-Piece. Bathing. Suit. *drool* I rewatched that scene like... five times. And it had Tenten, Ino, and Hinata in bathing suits, which was cool. I did like the last ending, but this one takes the cake. =P The song is actually decent, as well.
