Woke up, went downstairs to ask my mom what we were doing for Father's Day. She said that we weren't doing anything special, so I asked if we could go to AnimeNEXT, an anime con in Secaucus, New Jersey.
When we arrived, we found a perfect parking space and went inside to register. Though, we didn't need to register since people weren't checking for our AN badges. On the way, I saw an adorable Ed cosplayer, along with Roy. There were a lot of random Naruto cosplayers, though they weren't that great.
First we went into the Game Room where I saw a Naruto game for Game Cube. 'Twas awesome, and the graphics were amazing. Went to watch the DDR players after, and they were so talented. O_O
After, I went to second floor and bought an Edward bookmark. I was torn between Sasuke or Ed, but finally chose Ed. Then, I journied to the manga room and read some of Tokyo Mew Mew, but I got bored and wandered off to the Dealers Room. Bought a red oak Japanese sword and a Naruto wall scroll (which I'm still debating as to where it should go! >_>) and a Naruto keychain (which will go on my backpack next year =P).
Went to the screening room and saw some of Inuyasha, which was good. After that, back to the Video Game room where I played some DDR (I was actually pretty good) and watched more of that interesting Naruto game. After that, I went upstairs to the AMV room where I saw the Naruto mentos commercial. Hilarious. 'Twas my second time seeing it, but I couldn't help but laugh. After that, there was a funny Dragon Ball Z parody involving "The Day After Tomorrow." Saw an excellent Naruto AMV then went back to the Dealer's Room to make one final check. Didn't get anything else, so we went home. And that was my day. =) counted stars at
